ABOUT US
OUR MISSION:
"Helping contractors build."
Many of our team members have worked on construction crews, so they understand what it takes on the jobsite. We're ready to help you find quality materials for any project. Call Tyrone Building Supply or stop in and meet a team ready to help you build!
Count on practical advice, competitive pricing, and well-stocked inventory. Ask about reliable delivery and jobsite drops, including next-day options when available. Need something we don’t stock? We can help source it through our vendors.
Core
Values
Relationships
Building honorable relationships with local contractors to help them serve people is one of our highest goals.
Community
Seeing the local community expand and growing infrastructure is incredibly exciting to us!
Buildings
Quality-built homes are a thing of beauty and we love to see them! We are here to help you accomplish that.
People
People > Everything. At the end of the day, people matter over everything we do here at Tyrone. That’s why we invest time into growing and developing our people.
Our History
In 2017, Sam Brukaber moved from PA to the Tyrone area of the Fingerlakes and started selling Pole Barn Packages and lumber to the farmers and locals in his community. His shop was on a dirt road on top of a hill out in the sticks. Yet his love for people and his kind spoken ways helped pave the way for his growth and reputation as a great place to get lumber.
“Hello, this is Samuel!” Is what so many of us loved to hear as he answered the phone taking lumber orders. The company grew and he partnered with Rodney Smoker and Andrew Graber and they expanded to its current location in Himrod NY in October 2020.
Even though Sam no longer works at Tyrone Building Supply, his love for people and kind spoken ways are still leading the way for a new generation of people now bringing energy and excitement to the building supply industry.
